I gave Phil an electric ice cream maker for Father's Day and I have been having so much fun with it (why am I using it more than he is?). I have been making all sorts of ice creams and frozen yogurts. Once you get a recipe for a basic ice cream and frozen yogurt, you can start experimenting with any flavors you like.
This has been one of my favorites. Even though Nutella is a prominent ingredient, it is made with nonfat Greek yogurt, which helps cut into the richness (and calories) of the Nutella. I consider this a fairly healthy frozen treat. It's so easy to prepare, it's really not even a recipe....just throwing ingredients together in a bowl and pouring it into an electric ice cream maker.
Nutella Frozen Yogurt
Servings: 8
Preparation Time: 30
2 c. nonfat, plain Greek yogurt
1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. half-n-half
3/4 c. Nutella
DIRECTIONS:
Whisk all ingredients together.
Place in ice cream maker and follow the manufacturers directions..
